The SCORE Foundation
The SCORE Foundation is a nonprofit charity dedicated to supporting the SCORE Association. The foundation raises contributions and makes donations to support SCORE counseling and training. In FY06, the foundation provided more than $361,000 in support to SCORE.
U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
The U.S. Small Business Administration established in 1953, provides financial, technical and management assistance to help Americans start, run, and grow their businesses. SCORE is a resource partner with the StBA. The SBA administers a Congressional grant, which provides SCORE with funding. SCORE volunteers work with the SBA to provide small business counseling and training to entrepreneurs through SBA offices.
Del Mar College Small Business Development Center
The Del Mar College Small Business Development Center (SBDC) works with hundreds of entrepreneurs every year and offers a clear perspective of the obstacles that small businesses must overcome in order to succeed. Through various outreach efforts, the SBDC is continuously developing and refining consulting resources and training workshops to meet the needs of the ever changing local small business community. SCORE Corpus Christi is proud to partner with the Del Mar College SBDC to offer workshops for our local business community.
