SCORE, "Counselors to America’s Small Business," is a nonprofit volunteer organization with more than 10,500 business mentors, both working and retired. Our volunteers counsel hundreds of thousands of businesses from nearly 400 counseling offices nationwide. Since 1964, we’ve helped more than 7 million small businesses live their dreams.
Help Entrepreneurs Succeed
Whether you’re providing counseling or supporting chapter operations, you and other volunteers help hundreds of thousands of small businesses succeed each year. SCORE counselors share their real-world expertise through confidential one-to-one mentoring and counseling, as well as low-cost workshops and seminars.
SCORE Corpus Christi counselors also provide online counseling directly from their homes or offices. You’ll be part of a team that represents every facet of the business community. Some SCORE volunteers have worked as executives of Fortune 500 companies, while others have been entrepreneurs themselves. Still other SCORE experts have valuable university, military and government experience. As a result, SCORE counselors are qualified to serve as business advisors, mentors and coaches for virtually every type of small business entrepreneur.
Lead SCORE’s Outreach
Leadership positions are available at the local, district and national levels, including as a chapter’s chair or committee chair, district director, or member of the national board of directors. You can build a stronger SCORE by using your skills to develop chapter marketing, create outreach programs or mentor new volunteers. You can also choose to share your expertise by serving as an online counselor, or by leading workshops and seminars for entrepreneurs.
